Maraging C350™ is a nickel-maraging alloy that is relatively soft, but extremely tough. Vascomax® C350 can also be readily machined and formed to your specifications. In addition, the aging process of Maraging steel raises the hardness to a level sufficient for many tooling applications.
Vascomax® C350 (Maraging C350) Features
Magellan Metal’s Vascomax® 350 is a nickel/cobalt steel alloy that is essentially carbon-free, other alloying elements include moly, aluminum and titanium. This combination creates a superior maraging steel with a variety of features, including:
- Meets AMS 6512 specifications
- Meets AMS 6514 specifications
- Meets MIL-S-46850 specifications
- Extremely tough
- Allows close machining with minimal distortion
- Uniform, predictable shrinkage during heat treatment
- Easily nitrided
- Resists corrosion & crack propagation
