Stainless 418 (Greek Ascoloy®) is a chromium-nickel-tungsten martensitic alloy designed for services up to 1200 °F. Stainless 418 is an extremely deep hardening grade used for application where high resistance to tempering and stress-corrosion cracking are desired.
Available forms of Stainless 418 are seamless pipe, welded pipe, seamless tube, welded tube, bar, wire, sheet, plate, forgings, pipe fittings and flanges.
